Festival celebrated its 10-year existence by organising 10 interventions in 10
weeks through the city of Hasselt during the summer of 2020. For the event,
Summer Carnival, I had the opportunity to paint the 30 x 4,5 m wall at the end
of Astridparking Hasselt.

The outcome
is my interpretation of a typical landscape painting: creating a new world full
of vibrant colours, patterns, and organic forms. The observer is immediately
attracted to these elements from afar.
The wall contains figurative and abstract forms, with references from the physical world and the digital one. It gives space to the viewer to let his imagination drift off into the landscape.
